Volunteers are what makes the Stratham Fair “NH’s Finest”! The Stratham Fair is organized and to a great extent run by volunteers. Each year Stratham’s Finest Volunteers work shoulder-to-shoulder with their neighbors, transforming Stratham Hill Park from an empty field into a vibrant “city”!
No experience is necessary to volunteer but from time-to-time we need people with specialized training or expertise in the following areas:
• Sign Painter
• Short Order Cook
• Tractor Driving
• Livestock Handling
Benefits of Volunteering
Volunteers who donate their time before, during and after the fair are providing a great service to the many organizations that participate and benefit from the Stratham Fair.
Those donating their time are rewarded with a number of thank-you gifts and two appreciation dinners
All volunteers receive free admission to the fair on the day(s) that they are scheduled to work and are welcome to join us for two- appreciation gatherings provided by the Fair organizers. The first is a gathering of light refreshments and buffet on the eve of the Fair opening. Wednesday evening July 21st, with all the preparations complete it is time to relax and socialize with this great community of volunteers at the Fairgrounds. The second gathering is traditionally held in September for a great family friendly wrap-up party to thank everyone who helps make the Stratham Fair “New Hampshire’s Finest”.
There are special offers for those volunteering their time directly to the Fair, the Stratham Volunteer Fire Department or Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary venues, before, during or after the fair. In addition to the free admission, T-Shirt and parties, the Fire department offers these special offers: *
