4-H Friends Spinning Bee

Fiber Arts are fantastic!  Youth and adults who enjoy spinning will come together to demonstrate spinning in the 4-H exhibit building on Friday afternoon at the Stratham Fair.  They will be utilizing spinning wheels and drop spindles to turn wool roping into yarns.  Watch and learn how fibers are twisted together to create amazing textures.  Ask questions you might have and you might even get an opportunity for a “hands on” experience, too.  Youth and adults who enjoy spinning are invited to join in the circle of spinners and help to showcase this fun creative hobby.  Call Cheryl McCarthy, leader of the Byfield Buddies 4-H Club, at 978-465-3705 if you want to join in with the 4-H Friends Spinning Bee.
