All oxen teams to compete at Stratham Fair shall weigh in between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM on the day of the event. All teams shall show proof of insurance. Per NH RSA 436:86; No medication of any kind (anti-inflamatory, pain killer,  depressant, or stimulant) shall be allowed or tolerated. All teams shall approach the boat at a walk,  in a safe manner. The first infraction shall be a verbal warning, the second shall result in the loss of a hitch, and the third dismissal. All teams shall make the first hitch within 3 minutes or be disqualified. Any team deliberately driven over the rails shall be disqualified. When two teams pull the same distance, within their final round, they shall return for one final hitch. If equal distance between those teams is again pulled, their place shall be determined by the flip of the coin. Officials in charge of the Stratham Fair Oxen Pulling Events are John Hutton, Brad Reardon, and Daniel Sewall.  The officials’ decisions shall be final.
