Family Dog - Open to ages 8-11 enrolled in 4-H Dog Project. Dog will sit, stay, come, and walk calmly on a leash. Member will discuss the dog's home care: feeding, health & general knowledge.
Sub Novice A. All work on lead

Novice A. Figure 8 and heal on leash, others off lead
Novice B
Graduate Novice A All Exercises off lead

Open A All off lead, includes jumps. Bring your jumps.
Open B
Utility, CDX dogs and handlers
Brace, 2 dogs working together, performing the novice obedience routine.
Both dogs must be performing at the novice level or higher.

Knowledge Quiz from 4-H Dog Project Manuals, AKC Complete Dog Book and AKC Complete Dog Book for Kids. All exhibitors in dog show must take the knowledge quiz.

Ruth Wiggin Memorial Trophy has been given for over 25 years at Stratham Fair to the senior 4-H member with the highest combined showmanship, obedience, and quiz score. This trophy is presented each year from a trust fund set up by Miss Webb in honor of her cousin, Mrs. Ruth Wiggin, Stratham.
Paul Morin Trophy is awarded to the junior 4-H member with the highest combined showmanship, obedience, and quiz score. This trophy is in memory of Paul Morin, a former 4-H dog club leader in Stratham.
Sharon Beck Trophy is awarded to the novice 4-H member with the highest combined showmanship, obedience, and quiz score. This trophy is given in memory of Sharon Beck, former 4-H member who enjoyed showing her dogs.
